The design of Springfield Hospital is focused on creating strong visual and physical connections with nature; ample daylight, natural ventilation and access to outdoor spaces. In addition to creating safe, homely surroundings for patients, a strong emphasis is put on creating optimum working environments for staff.
Working with C.F Møller, Hygenius have designed and installed bespoke furniture for forensic and non-forensic areas including 135 bedrooms, receptions, kitchens and café areas, multi-faith rooms, breakout areas and much more.

Materials for both the exterior and interiors have been carefully selected and chosen for their durability, sustainability and beauty. Chosen for its strength and durability, Lacquered birch plywood heavily featured in our furniture design.
